Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the selling process, from developing customer awareness by specific market development initiatives that includes identifying customers based on applications and market knowledge in a specific industry and/or application pre-defined by the Macro Business Unit Manager.
Anticipated pay range ~$60 ? $75k per year.

Requires a four year college degree, in a technical or marketing field, plus five years relevant selling experience. Engineering degree preferred.
Previous experience with start-up business or new product launches preferred.
A team player with excellent people skills. Self-motivated, tenacious and competitive.
Effective time management skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and customer database software.
Ability to grasp technical/engineering information easily.
Additional requirements are a current history of credit worthiness, a valid driver?s license and current evidence of a good driving record. Desired Qualities and Specific Functions:
Proven business development skills by identifying applications within specific markets, finding the customers that would process those applications and converting them to laser processing.
Develop value proposition selling strategies for the assigned applications and industry.
Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
Makes product, application and general sales presentations to end user customers and system integrators.
Establishes long term relationships with manufacturing engineers, product engineers, engineering management, purchasing personnel and top company managers at customer plant sites and corporate offices.
Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers to understand the customers? requirements.
Responds to requests and answers questions relating to product, service, and equipment and engineering information.
Develops relationships and works with various system integrators within the specific industry.
Internal Communication ? Team Member
Understands and defines quotation requirements for lasers and laser systems.
Works with customers and company applications labs to develop and promote new laser applications.
Works with all internal company departments to provide customer feedback and competitive information.
