Infection Control Coordinator plans, develops, directs, implements, and evaluates infection prevention and control activities within the hospital. Infection Control Coordinator oversees compliance with Joint Commission, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirement.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement : Nursing degree, or degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related health field.

Minimum Experience Requirement : Three years’ experience in a healthcare related setting preferred. Must have excellent written, interpersonal, time management and presentation skills with flexibility to meet a wide range of service needs. Experience working with statistical tools for analysis of data as well as proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn utilization of new data bases.

Minimum License Requirement : Nurse or any health field requiring licensure must have current West Virginia license.
