We are looking for a multitalented Information Architect to serve as the leader of our scope definition project documentation and site wireframing activities for all interactive development projects The right person will be highly organized personable an excellent writer strong communicator extremely well versed in web and mobile site usability and best practices Your positive attitude and helpful qualityfocused approach will also contribute to McMurry’s nationally recognized “best workplace” culture If you are detailoriented enjoy interacting with coworkers and clients are assertive have experience in siteapp architecture and are excellent at articulating the tenets of web usability to both technical and nontechnical people we want to talk to you Reporting to the Creative Director this position involves the following daytoday activities Project Discovery and Definition bull Collaborate with the interactive team and clients to understand and define project scope while advocating for the end user bull Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews with clients representative users andor subject matter experts to gather key business objectives and user requirements Document all findings bull Create and maintain all user experience deliverables These may include competitive research analyses persona creation use cases functional requirements including workflow diagrams site maps classification schemes detailed wireframes and interaction flows andor annotated design compsvisual specs All deliverables must be presentation quality bull Collaborate with creative director and engineering lead on wireframe creation bull Present all user experience (UX) strategy and definition documents at internal review and client meetings Present decisions and alternate solutions based on human factors and user research historical site analytics and web standard best practices bull Contribute strategy and materials to new sales pitches Required Skills for this Position bull Proficient in whiteboard and digital wireframing through the use of tools such as Visio iPlotz MockFlow or others bull Strong grasp of web usabilityuser experience principles and best practices bull Excellent writing skills – this position requires a great deal of creation of client facing documents bull Basic familiarity with common web languages and their capabilities (eg XHTML XML CSS AJAX JQuery etc) bull Understanding of common administrative and backend tools in the interactive domain (eg content management systems data reporting ecommerce search) bull Familiarity with web analytics clickstream analysis and AB testing Knowledge Requirements (EducationExperience) bull MSBSBA in humancomputer interaction or similar field and 3+ years of experience as a user experienceinformation architect in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment Alternately an equivalent mix of education and experience may be considered bull Interactive agency experience a big plus Is this you If so we’d love to hear from you The right person will enjoy generous compensation strong benefits and the excitement that comes with getting things done in a fast moving agency environment If you are looking for a career move with no ceiling above you and lots of support around you this is it Please apply through our website No phone calls or email please
