Understand and assess compliancy and provide risk mitigation strategies related to the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) IA controls.
Participate in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process (DIACAP).
Create required security documentation as needed.
Analyze and transform operational and security needs into solutions while remaining compliant with regulations, policies and procedures.
Participate in enterprise system migrations and upgrade plans based on an understanding of the projectÃ¢â¬â¢s strategic direction, technology context and end user needs.
Perform routine Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checks on assets to ensure compliance.
Install, test, monitor and document architectures and component configurations relating to a variety software, hardware, and system components.
Communicate effectively with customers and manage expectations.
The successful Candidate:
Analyzes and resolves INFOSEC technical problems.
Supports the integration of INFOSEC solutions and technologies into networks with particular attention to protocols, interfaces, and system design.
Must have knowledge of Government security policies and familiarity with security-related technologies and auditing tools.
Must be capable of providing security engineering analysis on a variety of information systems.
Must be capable of developing security accreditation/certification documentation, and creating and maintaining security policy and procedures.
Must be capable of performing security certification engineering analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments.
Must be capable of designing and configuring security tools.
Must be capable of developing test procedures, establishing test environments, executing security certification test/demonstrations/evaluations, documenting results, and developing reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
Must be capable of conceptualizing and implementing security systems and architectures.
This position requires a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
