This position is responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining information security policies, strategies, procedures and settings. In addition, this position will participate with the customer in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into processes and systems. This position reviews, prioritizes and recommends information security improvements as they relate to the achievement of the customer's business goals and objectives.
The responsibilities of this position includes:
? Defining, implementing and maintaining information security policies, strategies, procedures and settings for supported customer
? Designing, developing and / or recommending security systems solutions that will ensure data and systems are protected
? Participating with the customer in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into processes and systems
? Reviewing, prioritizing and recommending information security improvements as they relate to the achievement of the customer's business goals and objectives
? Participating in internal and external audits for the customer and providing direction as to how to remediate action items related to information security
? Ensuring the customer is in compliance with any applicable standards and regulations
? Reviewing and validating service management tickets (e.g., incident, problem, request, change) related to information security; ensuring tickets are routed to appropriate assignee; providing direction on remediation and ensuring remediation is complete
? Monitoring and assessing vendor and 3rd party information security reports/lists
? Evaluating new and emerging security products and technologies; making recommendations to customer leadership concerning introduction of new technologies
? Providing information to customer leadership regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information
? 1-5 years of information security experience and a strong knowledge of security standards.
? Experience with information security, internal & external audits, contract compliance, and quality initiatives.
? Project management
? Strong oral and written communications
? Customer relationship management experience at the senior level
