LCG Systems is currently seeking Network Security Engineer to take on a leadership role in cultivating client relationships with a strong focus on cost-effectively meeting the of security risks on workstations and servers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Act as primary on Intrusion Detection/Prevention devices and ASA Firewalls.
•Work with the Information Security Officer to guide decisions on solutions and best practices.
•Support execution of network upgrades as well as system security upgrade efforts and provide tier 3 level helpdesk support.
•Represent information security on organizational and enterprise teams.
•Supports incident response and forensic analysis.
•Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems. Provide security analysis on new architecture design on new technologies as well as provide high-level security engineering.
•Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
•Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
•Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
•Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Performs work that requires practical experience and training. Work is performed under supervision.

Technical Requirements:
•Demonstrated experience with ePolicy Orchestrator
* Experience with SCCM/WSUS as a patch management system.
•Demonstrated knowledge of Nessus vulnerability scanner and its' use in remediation
•Demonstrated skills in using tools and applications on Linux (Unix), Windows, MacOS -Develop documentation for policies and performing analysis of existing documentation -Handle multiple projects at any time and communicate with project teams and leads.
•Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) protocols, computer/network security, and system administration
•Knowledge of INFOSEC operations, vulnerability assessment, and security-scanning tools

Relevant Certifications & Education
•Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent of 7+ years’ experience
•CEH: Certified Ethical Hacker preferred

•CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate
•CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional

CCNP (Security): Cisco Certified Network Professional in Security
