JOB SUMMARY :

The IS Analyst will be required to work in a collaborative team environment within the Fundraising Management Division to implement strategic fundraising campaigns for our clients. An IS Analyst will be responsible for data preparation and analysis of prospect databases while supporting ad hoc requests for internal and external clients. In addition, he/she will utilize internally developed software to load data and manage campaigns for TeleFunding, direct mail, e-messaging, and other avenues of service.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS :

Reports to: Senior Information Services Analyst, FM

Supervises: N/A

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : (not limited to)
  • Manage data preparation, manipulation, cleansing and segmentation through use of internally developed software tools
  • Utilizing problem solving techniques for data analysis, with attention to detail, to ensure a quality product while maintaining prospect databases
  • Interaction with Fundraising Management clients as well as internal departments
  • Manage technical setup of loading and analyzing campaigns within CAMPUSCALL for daily program use and specialized requests
  • Creation of ad-hoc files and reports for both internal and external clients
  • Setup and manage multichannel products and services through standard practices for strategic fundraising campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS : Education, Licenses/Certifications and Work Experience :

Required :
  • Associates Technical degree or 2+ years’ experience in a technical field
  • Experience with databases, and working knowledge of SQL
  • Analytical skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and have general attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Positive and energetic attitude with the ability to welcome change
  • Desire/ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Infrequent light physical effort required
  • Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate
Preferred:
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL using Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Knowledge of MS FoxPro
  • Previous experience in fundraising is a plus
  • Ability to document and keep up-to-date current processes and procedures
