Sunmark is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Systems Analyst to work at our Latham Administrative Offices.

Needs to be able to accommodate a flexible
schedule including on-call hours as necessary.

DUTIES

1.Ensures that all jobs and processes on the Spectrum data processing system and Network are up and operating efficiently at all times. Verifies all system parameters and makes changes as needed. Maintains the credit union's Real Time processing system, which includes the Call24 (TAMI), Home banking, ATM and Visa Debit Card interfaces. Watches the outputs of these jobs and resolves issues as needed.
2.Ensures data integrity for disaster recovery and business resumption by keeping system documentation up to date, including the online knowledge database and job/program comments. Labels and stores all backup tapes according to procedures to ensure data integrity. Monitors the performance and output of the backup jobs, ensuring successful backup completion, and makes adjustments to the process, or recommendations as needed.
3.Works with all departments and employees to resolve operational error messages from the network or Fiserv programs. Provides Wow! service in each interaction, consistent with the credit union's mission of exceeding expectations. Assists in ensuring that HELPDESK emails and phone calls are responded to promptly, and handles the minor tasks that are requested, including routine maintenance of equipment or database reports. Uses good customer service skills at all times with staff when responding to calls or keeping them updated. Documents Helpdesk requests and solutions in tracking software. Keeps supervisors updated of task progress.
4.Works on long-term projects as assigned. Keeps supervisors and others fully informed of progress. Meets due date targets. May work independently or as part of a team as assigned. Keeps all documentation related to the project up to date.
5.Assist in the administration of the TCP/IP Network and reports any potential security issues to the IS or IT Manager immediately. Ensures that all anti-virus definitions are up to date. Maintains the strict confidentiality of all IS Department codes and passwords, as well as all Credit Union related data.
6.Tests new upgrades as assigned and performs the live upgrades to various computer systems according to procedures; recommends new procedures/software/hardware to enhance the current data processing system and network. Works on Nightly/Weekend/Month end processing, and any associated tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Preferred education with Programming, Helpdesk Support, Database Management, Linux/UNIX/Windows OS, or Computing Application/Analytics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving skills and ability to analyze information and data skillfully, and developing alternative solutions
