As an Information Systems Intern, your main responsibility will be to assist with various IS projects and tasks to gain understanding of how technology is implemented and used within the organization.
Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems.
Assist with onboarding of new users including set up and maintenance of users within the ICCU domain
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using available information resources.
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Perform timely system configuration modifications, software package installs, software default setting updates, etc as required
Performs regression testing following system updates and bug fixes
Identify defects / bugs, documents testing result, and communicate findings with the proper support team
Configure, test and implement new products and processes, PCs, and approved changes in Beta, Training and Production systems.
Perform ad-hoc system and new PC configuration testing, identify and report usability issues relating to the application, verifying bug fixes provided by developers, and taking appropriate action based on the correctness of the bug fixes.
As assigned, work on auditing various systems and processes. These would include, but are not limited to, Statement reviews, Active Directory, Oputils, Express Metrix, etc.
Additional projects as assigned.
Current enrollment at Idaho State University working towards an IS degree. Able to communicate well with other team members. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records at all times. Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, etc.) Sit and stand for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computers, monitors, etc). Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).
