City of Liberty, MO is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong technical skills to serve as Information Systems Specialist I for the Information Technology Services Department. Duties include: variety of operational and administrative tasks relating to the support of end user desktops, those duties include but are not limited to: Experience in managing, documenting, tracking and monitoring of help desk requests to ensure satisfactory and timely resolution. Experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products Experience in Active Directory Administration/User application account setup Experience in supporting PC hardware, Laptops and Networked Printers Knowledge of Lotus Notes Knowledge of Citrix Experience in troubleshooting and supporting various applications Experience in identifying, researching and resolving technical problems; escalating problems to other support members when necessary, and working with vendor support when required Work in a fast-paced environment, able to adapt to frequent changes and be able to work a flexible schedule when required. Work with diverse groups, establish priorities and solve highly complex technical/operational problems Strong commitment to quality customer service Self-motivated, reacts well under pressure, takes responsibility for own actions Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

A combination of experience/training providing help-desk support & supporting advanced technology environments a must. An A.A.S in computer information systems preferred. Experience required with current Windows operating systems. Starting salary range: $3,146 - $3,775/mo DOQ.
