The Information Systems Specialist provides automation support in the areas of Human Resources Management and/or Financials Management. This position requires extensive knowledge of both the information technology and financial or human resources management fields of study.

Position Requirements

Requires a bachelors degree in information systems study, or related discipline. Combination of five years of experience in IT applications development with a demonstrated ability to lead, plan, and implement HR technology projects. Five years of functional experience implementing and supporting PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) products including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Recruiting, Compensation, Position Management, Payroll for North America, and Workflow. Demonstrated ability to utilize PeopleTools, Data Mover, SQL, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher, Integration Broker, Portal and Security Administration, Oracle UPK, Oracle ATS, PeopleSoft Test Framework, Approval Framework, and/or PeopleSoft Query to deliver solutions. Familiarization with PeopleSoft CRM Help Desk for HR is a plus. Possess detailed business functional knowledge and extensive process and application automation knowledge. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Participate with the ASAP team in the upgrade cycle including initial review, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and change management. Provide timely and accurate support for HR technology solutions including research, problem solving, issue tracking and resolution. Participate in HR Technology projects and initiatives including new functionality, integrations, system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements. Provide guidance and advice for process re-engineering. Set up or customize Workflow, Self-Service and other HCM modules/ applications. Provide support for setup changes, system administration, user training, and business process documentation.
