Apply laws, policies, directives, and guidance to acquisitions throughout the total life-cycle. Conduct or support requirements analysis, design, development, performance measurement, procurement, lease, outsourcing, verification and validation, certification and accreditation, installation, transition, operations, support, and, where applicable, disposal by applying technical as well as program/project management skills. Technical skills include systems engineering, component engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, and electronics engineering. Support compliance of the acquisition with the Global Information Grid (GIG) architecture, C4I Support Plan, Information Assurance, and other information management policies addressed in DoD 5000 and 8000 series. Support development and application of proven acquisition strategies and procurement planning, solicitation, award, and monitoring. Apply information technology to support business processes such as those that enable e-government. Directs and coordinates activities of IS Department. Consults with management to determine data processing requirements. Applies knowledge of system capacity to determine feasibility of projects. Maintains current knowledge of new hardware and software and recommends upgrading to maintain efficient operation. Schedules and assigns work to programmers. Performs analysis of department production and redesigns workflow if appropriate.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 8+ years of experience
**This position is contingent upon contract award.**
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; SECRET, TS, or TS/SCI clearance as required.
