Provides end-user support for computer applications where duties include designing and generating various reports; backing up copies of data sources; loading new data; researching, testing, and recommending new products; overseeing implementation and documenting the process of special projects; providing hands-on training; monitoring hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment; installing and upgrading applications; serving as a consultant to department heads and staff by assessing needs and recommending appropriate hardware/software; coordinating systems security; and troubleshooting access and other problems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of experience installing and troubleshooting computer problems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid NC Driver’s License
Hours: 8AM-5PM weekdays; on call required eevery
5 weeks; must be available for special projects and during emergency situations
