Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Business Analyst (Information Technology) located in San Ramon, CA or Houston, TX through November 3, 2013.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Define the project business requirements and create functional specification documents for project deliverables.
Define and design application functional and user interface requirements
Assist in the development, documentation and deployment of standardized processes to simplify business.
Responsible for consulting with IT and management on applying technology to business opportunities and planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
Develop executive summaries, in depth analytical reports and ad-hoc reporting for presentation of business plan.
Communicate application and project status and vision to leadership team and stakeholders through timely email and strategic meetings.
Maintain the business IT project road map.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and process within Chevron.
Develop test cases and plans, run system testing, conducts testing validation
Lead the development of application documentation and customer training.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal business partners.
Familiar with information management and intellectual property principles in an IT environment.
Experience in a large scale (enterprise level) IT project focused on the implementation of software.
Good understanding of methodologies used to manage projects.
Good understanding of Chevron Business
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Business or related areas is preferred.
Knowledge of DAM software preferred.
