Job Description

Altria Client Services' role is to provide high quality services to the Altria family of companies. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Information Technology Procurement Analyst to join our Information Services (IS) department in Richmond, VA.

The successful candidate will responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) Procurement services to the Altria family of companies.

Specific accountabilities include:
Participating in cross-functional projects/activities requiring procurement services for IT hardware, software and/or services
Preparing and negotiating procurement agreements to secure the best value for Altria
Preparing, issuing, evaluating and making award recommendations for Request for Proposals
Collaborating with Law on procurement agreements
Identifying, recommending and implementing plans to improve procurement processes
Maintaining procurement records in accordance with Company policies

Specific Skills

Qualifications include:
BS/BA Business discipline or equivalent
Paralegal Studies certificate preferred
Minimum of 3 years Procurement experience
Proven oral and written communications skills
Certified Purchasing Manager ("CPM") or Certified Professional in Supply Management ("CPSM") certification preferred
