This position is responsible for all aspects of network and systems administration supporting all events and activities to include servers, workstations, terminals, printers cash drawer POS, communications, information management and security, POS hardware/software and other operations systems. Position requires employee to be at the events and be available to solve problems as they arise (i.e. reconnection should the connection be terminated.)
Administration of a 100+ terminals. Quest server environment to include database management and systems configuration. Analyze, plan and implement network topology supporting the Quest POS environment. Establish, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN WWAN, AND 3G network coverage for all events. Respond to network outages during operations. Lead team of people to ensure all aspects of Quest are operational prior to ALL event openings to include: relocating Quest equipment as requested, hardwiring Quest equipment, and running cables as needed. Employee will enter data into the Quest System. Performs technology needs analysis and recommends the acquisition of new technologies. Handle all acquisitions, RMA’s and resupply for IT resources. Meet with Cornucopia Management to assess operation needs to constantly improve and support IT Department needs. Schedule, train and manage all IT associates. Work closely with Fairplex IT Department to seamlessly integrate Cornucopia Foods information technology needs in the established network topology.
Demonstrable knowledge of Network operations at all levels of the OSI model
Demonstrable knowledge of Windows server networking environment, networking devices, cabling and physical deployments.
Ability to orientate, train and supervise IT associates.
Must be able to give direction to support staff
Ability to negotiate hardware/software services and technical support contracts with outside vendors.
Extensive knowledge of computers, capable of hardwiring and programming
Must demonstrate on ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.
Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work with adjacent non-technology departments to solve technology issues and communicate technology issues in a food and beverage workplace.
Minimum of 2 years previous experience with Quest or similar hospitality point of sale system.

4 year Degree in IT.
