This position is a member of a team of information technology professionals that acts as the initial point of contact for all technology services provided to the faculty, staff and students of the College including AV technology. The specialist is responsible for receiving, documenting, prioritizing and actively resolving requests from faculty, staff and students utilizing remote access tools, phone, email and in-person and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary. In addition, the Specialist will create and maintain strong working relationships with administrative and academic offices in order to support the use of technology across departments of the College including video conferencing systems, video editing, file conversions, and up loads. The specialist must maintain a professional, customer-first attitude.
Associates Degree required. Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university (preferred). Three years with one year or more of computer and AV support experience in a higher education setting. Applicant must have strong customer service skills. Proficient personal computer skills including video conference software and systems and video edit software required. Must have technical skill set to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
