This leadership position is for the enthusiastic, customer-focused leader who thrives on providing exceptional service in support of our desktop and laptop environment to over 4000 end users in our Northbrook corporate home office environment. This leader will lead a team of 15+ talented employees with some contractor employees providing staffing augmentation. The team currently provides desktop support for all four Northbrook campuses but will be expanding our scope of services to include video conference equipment support, wireless access point support and other "physical touch" needs.
An ability to implement structured processes and metrics is key to the success of this team leader position, as we strive to provide consistent excellence in our support services to our customers. The ability to communicate effectively within the team and with various business customers at varying leadership positions, is critical. This team leader, because of their presence in our home office environment, serves as the face of Field Support leadership and subsequently must be confident in managing business relationships.
This team leader should have a good grasp of the business processes within each business area to best understand how we, as a technology team, enable our business partners to deliver their strategies. Being able to quickly grasp these business processes and understand how we enable them through the technology we support is important.
A minimum of 5 years of successful leadership experience in Infrastructure Services is required, with a preference for support and operational experience versus engineering experience.
