Job Description:
Our Client in Monee, IL is seeking an experienced Injection Mold Operator.

This is a temp to hire position with pay starting between $14-$16 per hour.
Candidates with Injection Maintenance experience may be eligible for a higher wage.

Once hired on employee is eligible for full benefit package.

Must be able to work both 2nd and 3rd shift.

A qualified candidate can must demonstrate the ability to start various types of injection presses from a "cold" start.

A qualified candidate must be able to set up and operate the following Equipment:

Dryer temperature/dryer air flow

Barrel, nozzle tip ampere percentage

Manifold heat; start up and run profile

Back pressures and adjustments

Timer set-up and adjustment

Function and set up of limit switch

Panel control switch functions & operation

Open time and Forward Slowdown

Barrel Purging

Main disconnects

Safety drop bars

Ejector plate

Cooling time

Shot Size control

Bulk Palletizers

Mold temperature

Hydraulic limit switches

Electrical limit switches

High and low pressure time

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to understand and establish production standards by being able to set machine conditions to obtain optimum cycle without sacrificing quality.

Maintains a thorough and complete knowledge of product defects, including both visual and non-visual problems. Is able to correct all quality problems without assistance. Able to measure t-dia, e-dia, i-dia, dimensions, thread match lines, top cavity match lines, split cavity match lines, inside diameter, thread flash, and weight.

Understands the material transfer systems including: dryer operation, regrinding usage, blending vacuum system, and machine loaders.

Posses a complete understanding of robotic equipment, including trouble shooting repair and general equipment problems.

Demonstrate a complete understanding of the following dryer components/processes: Process Filter, regeneration filter, start up/shut down, basic operation, and bag filter.

Fills out report for machine downtime.

Handles mold changes and clean up.

Monitors production and reject numbers.

Assures the highest quality of product.

Understands and is able to make adjustments to the crystallization process.
