Description

This Inside Account Manager role is based in Cleveland, Ohio and will report directly to the Beaverton Inside Account Management Sales Manager. You will work closely with multiple Outside Account Managers to cultivate customer relationships and drive sales for Tektronix test and measurement products in a defined geography. Being successful will require effective use of all company resources and excellent time management skills to maximize the company’s presence in front of a broad range of customers in the central area of the United States.

You will be required to find and interact with multiple customers daily. Being successful requires a full understanding of customers' applications, the ability to describe the key benefits of all test and measurement products, and the ability to assist a customer in selecting the appropriate solution for their application, all over the phone. You will also be required to know, understand, and follow the company values and processes.

Qualifications

Ability to learn testing methodologies including common measurements, test equipment operation, and applications

Highly motivated and success-driven

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (= 4+ years technical sales) in area of specialty (Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Sales or other related field) required

Outstanding inter-personal skills

Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent time management skills

Sales experience in high tech sales preferred.
