FlipKey is seeking an Inside Sales Associate, who will be responsible for driving new prospects for the Rent-by-Owner program, which enables enterprise vacation rental property owners to promote their listings on FlipKey and TripAdvisor. This individual will primarily focus on working directly with prospective owners via phone and email introductions to help them complete sign-up and publish their property listings.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact individuals who have expressed interest in FlipKey, allowing prospect to develop a deeper understanding of FlipKey’s services
  • Build relationships with prospective owners and small property managers to assist with their efforts to market their properties to travelers and get started on FlipKey
  • Respond to inbound emails from prospects and answer questions/communicate benefits about our service
  • Constantly strive to ensure that lead and prospect data within internal CRM is as up-to-date, accurate and as valuable as possible
  • Develop account opportunities, qualify prospective clients, manage leads and generate new opportunities
  • Work closely with the Concierge and Activations team to manage new customers smoothly through the onboarding process

Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High comfort level and enthusiasm initiating phone calls to prospective clients
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Previous inside sales experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Internet-based applications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Multi-lingual communication skills preferred (minimum of 2 languages: English, Spanish, French or Italian)
