Inside Sales Engineer
The Inside Sales Engineer will play a key role within our sales department. This position is hands on and will be involved in all areas of the sales process from bid to order, through production and on to final shipping. The ideal candidate is someone who understands the importance of making our sales process run smoothly and effectively.
This position must review and approve cost estimates, delivery schedules, and new options pricing.
Provide outside sales with information including production scheduling and updates on customer change requests. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between customers/outside sales and the internal departments to facilitate sales and accurate order fulfillment.
Analyze and resolve unusual or non routine inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction. This candidate must be capable of working in an extremely fast paced environment requiring strong problem solving, planning, time management, and communication skills.
This position is responsible for receiving and entering sales orders from outside sales, sending out sales acknowledgments to sales team to review, and coordinating all orders to ensure complete accuracy.
Must work internally with Operations to answer questions in regards to manufacturing of Hill Phoenix products and possess knowledge of order entry system and quotation software.
This candidate will also be responsible for reviewing customer requirements from store layouts, prints and specifications.

REQUIREMENTS: STRONGLY PREFER Bachelors Degree. Experience –Three (3) to Five (5) years of manufacturing customer service experience. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of AS-400 is preferred.
