Seeking a business-to-business Sales Leader who will be responsible for leading a team of 15 inside and field sales representatives. This exciting opportunity is a highly visible role with the ability to influence Epson's business across multiple channels. You will play a key role in the continued development/evolution of Epson's go-to-market strategy. The sucessfull candidate willl have strong technology experience managing across multiple sales channels including VAR, DMR, Distribution, Retail, and e-Tail.

Principal Accountabilities

Builds Sales
  • Collaborates across multiple departments to design & implement promotional strategies while avoiding cross-channel conflict.
  • Lead Inside Sales to develop and implement sales plans for designated territories to achieve group sales objectives.
  • Recommends key strategies that will build sales and minimize channel conflicts.
  • Manage MDF budgets and promotional spending to maximize returns.
  • Develop and manage a clear action plan for each business segment.
  • Oversees all sales activity for the group, including identification of customer needs, presentation of appropriate solutions and programs, and successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ensures significant customer issues are resolved or escalated.
  • Collaborates with ISRs on the design and creation of marketing programs to achieve sales quotas and objectives.
  • Reviews marketing programs for consistency with market development funds (MDF) guidelines.
  • Ensures participation; may participate in trade shows, sales meetings, training classes and other lead generation activities.
  • Provides critical feedback to corporate and product management regarding activity, trends, and competitive issues in the marketplace.

    Effective Sales Administration
  • Provides Sales Operations with accurate product forecasts.
  • Ensures that all administrative policies and procedures are adhered to and provides feedback and suggestions for improvements regarding existing programs.
  • Maintains account database of contacts and activities.
  • Submits weekly status reports to Sales management.
  • Responsible for managing MDF and operating budget.
  • Develops and provides periodic reports as defined by upper management.
  • Effectively organizes ISG resources to maximize sales results and customer satisfaction.

    Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience specializing in technology products
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Strong understanding of and experience in promotion development and management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with decision makers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Demonstrated history of leading sales team to achieve and exceed quota
