The Job:
As the Inside Sales Manager for our Equipment Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10, comprised of 7 sales representatives and 3 sales support associates. You’ll be responsible for the execution of the overall Equipment Sales Strategy through the ongoing development and management of a growing team. You will report directly to the VP, Business Development. As the leader of this team, you will provide the direct leadership and direction necessary to create an environment that motivates a bright sales organization to drive new business and retain clients. In large part, success in this position will be dependent on several key factors:

Executing on POSP’s business strategy in order to drive new equipment sales as well as continued sales into an existing customer base

Leading and developing a team of sales professionals in a rapid-growth environment

Proven track record building sales organizations that excel at outbound calling and developing relationships

Assisting in the implementation of a consistent strategy for developing client relationships

Identifying specific market segments and their needs while seamlessly tailoring sales strategies targeting those segments

You will:
Monitor work performance, providing coaching and counseling as necessary

Set daily, monthly and annual goals and Service Level requirements with the department

Conduct call audits to ensure representatives are proving the highest level of satisfaction

Assist staff with answering questions and handling escalated calls

Provide ongoing-training as needed to ensure staff is properly following departmental policies and procedures

Conduct monthly meetings (One-On-Ones) with staff. During these meetings, the Supervisor will discuss current performance against goals and provide direction on how to improve results

Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company.

Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, product management and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.

Participate in client interactions to ensure cross training, customer satisfaction and management involvement regularly

Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, and business and technology partnerships, and others as needed

Desired Education, Experience & Skills:
Education and/or Certifications

A bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline or;

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

Demonstrated people-oriented management experience, leading a team of people, and a minimum of 8-10 years overall business experience.

3- 5 years of senior Sales experience in a high productivity inside selling organization

3+ years experience managing a team

A clear track record of leading dramatic growth across multiple channels for a company selling technology-related products directly to small to medium sized businesses and/or individual clients

A sales leader with a proven track record of success

Strong technical or data-driven sales expertise and the proven ability to evangelize it, along with the ability to conceptualize and teach sales principles and practices

Skills

A skilled communicator who can articulate the POSP vision in a clear and compelling way that immediately generates excitement, enthusiasm and a commitment to the vision in subordinates, peers and external partners

A proven motivator of people with undeniable experience in rallying people, not afraid to roll up his or her sleeves

A Salesforce.com reporting and analytics professional

A track record of attracting and retaining top talent
