GENERAL FUNCTION: Day to day management in the FTPS Inside Sales Department including oversight of new sales, existing sales and possibly sales administration. Maintains sales goals, facilitates workflow, monitors productivity, and ensures staff compliance with Bancorp policies and procedures. Provides feedback to management to be used in the strategic planning process. Direct management responsibility for approximately 8-15 FTE, which includes hiring and interviewing, coaching, performance management and employee engagement as well as training and ongoing supervision associated with the Inside Sales team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Meet and exceed assigned sales goals.* Provide coaching for team members on a daily basis to drive desired behaviors. This will include but not be limited to pipeline review, employee development and career path identification.* Coordinate and supervise day-to-day workflow within the respective team managed.* Ensure that production standards are met and maintained (i.e., sales goals, closing ratios, processing times, & abandonment rate).* Oversee and assist in resolving escalated operational, sales and /or customer service issues.* Responsible for monitoring individual and team sales productivity and quality goals, and providing reporting to management and individual representatives (i.e., sales scorecards, call observations, etc.).* Coordinate on boarding of new employees with the training department ensuring a full understanding of departmental and Bank procedures as well as individual job responsibilities. Responsible for the initial & ongoing training of the sales representatives.* Manage the staffing & scheduling of agents to ensure adequate phone coverage.* Identify and implement work efficiencies through process improvement initiatives.* Perform performance appraisals, promotions, salary increases and disciplinary actions for subordinate employees.* Provide input for the creation of incentives/campaigns and coordinate the rollout of such initiatives. Including but not limited to script development, staffing model analysis and general reporting for team members and management.* Assist in the creation and implementation of strategic plans to improve performance within the team.* Display intermediate to advanced knowledge regarding payment processing products and services.* Facilitate the implementation of assigned departmental projects.* Enhance skills by participating in Bancorp and divisional management training & leadership programs.* Perform all work in accordance with established health and safety procedures.* Perform any other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales management experience preferred.
* Prior management experience in an Inside Sales or Call Center setting preferred.
* Experience in the payment processing, financial services or related industry desired.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills.
* Strong organizational skills and project leadership skills.
* Experience with Microsoft products, such as Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
