Inside Sales Representative II

Description

Primary Function of Position:
Drive
and manage da Vinci Surgical Robotic capital equipment upgrades,
instrument/accessories sales based on a set geographical territory using a
consultative approach. Develop and
qualify new da Vinci Surgery System leads and new robotic surgeon prospects.

Roles and

Responsibilities:
Utilize proven selling skills to provide Inside Sales
support to Intuitive Surgical organization for an assigned territory

Qualify new customer leads from tradeshows, website
and other sources for future growth

Develop a pipeline of prospects targeted to meet
and/or exceed individual upgrade targets

Responsible for reporting monthly forecast timely and
accurately to management

Create strategic quarterly business plans in line with
Intuitive Surgical’s annual initiatives and corporate metrics

Participate in semi-annual national sales/service meetings
and Intuitive Surgical sponsored trade shows.

Contribute to the development of marketing activities
and promotions in order to maximize sales results to strategically generate and
develop new leads and revenue

Develop a team approach with field sales
representatives by coordinating sales activities and customer feedback within
shared accounts

Interact with C-level officers of hospitals, surgeons
and O.R. administration by utilizing healthcare business knowledge to introduce
and educate customers on new produces and services

Develop and maintain positive customer relations with
both internal and external customers; coordinate various functions within the
company to ensure customer satisfaction

Attend and Support ISI sponsored tradeshows and
clinical sessions

Attend and pass Clinical And Sales Training class

Qualifications

Skill/Job

Requirements:
2-5 plus years Inside Sales or
Field Sales experience, ideally in the capital medical device industry

4 year degree in business or
equivalent preferred

Strong computer skills:
understanding of MS Office Suite, CRM/SFA system. SAP helpful.

Understanding of human anatomy
and physiology required

Excellent verbal phone skills and
written communication skills

Positive attitude, self-motivated, ability to
independently work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, and follow established
procedures

Ability to multi-task with a passion for creation and a proven track record of driving continued improvement

Ability to travel 10%, which
may include overnight and/or weekend travel
