The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a transactional, phone-based sales professional responsible for all customer pre-sales support. The ideal ISR will cultivate a healthy sales pipeline including following up on leads, prospecting, and handling overflow tasks from the inside sales team. The ideal candidate must have at least 1-3 years inside sales experience in the high-tech marketplace with the ability to work toward common goals in a group sales environment and a passion for customer engagement and satisfaction.
1- 3 years of inside sales work experience and/or in related fields of customer service, telesales, and marketing
Professional and confident email/phone skills with the ability to make at least 75-100 calls per day
Highly self-motivated and deal-oriented with an entrepreneurial and team spirit
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow up
Experience entering data into database applications and operating basic word processing applications; Salesforce.com experience ideal but not required
Basic understanding of high tech, including office applications such as Microsoft Office
Experience in storage and working with a VAR channel is a plus, but not necessary
College degree preferred
