Provides Inside Sales support to the assigned business unit and specific market segments.
Ensures customer satisfaction by completing customer bid requests, reviewing business opportunities, and answering technical questions.
Efficiently manages multiple bid requests and submissions to ensure they meet required time sensitive deadlines, and financial goals are met.
Works directly with the Account Executives to prepare strategic plans, identify new sales opportunities, and profitably grow the business.
Proactively contacts existing and prospective customers within target markets to build relationships and increase sales
Monitors and Tracks all bidding activity and bids won/lost and provides documentation and reports
Keeps informed of customer preferences and trends, and actions of competitors as a basis for making and/or recommending changes in strategies.
Associate's degree (business or technical) with a minimum of 3 years experience in technical sales support or customer service activities.
Customer service and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal contacts and external customers.
Proficiency in multitasking
Mechanical aptitude and interest in understanding Donaldson technology and engineering specifications, or commitment to acquire knowledge.
