General Purpose of the position:
Maintain and increase market share by satisfying customer needs and meeting management/department objectives. Coordinate customer service with the shipping and operations departments, while meeting expense objectives. Develop a close working relationship with customers, and all coordinating departments.

Ø High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
Ø One (1) year experience working in a customer service-driven call center
Ø One (1) year minimum experience in a sales, and/or customer service related position preferred.
Ø Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ø Detail oriented
Ø Strong numeric and alpha-numeric data entry skills
Ø Must be able to work with all levels within the organization
Ø Ability to handle multiple tasks
Ø Proven ability to communicate effectively in English in a positive manner both verbally and in writing.
Ø A working knowledge and understanding of distribution and warehousing procedures preferred, with familiarity of a warehouse environment.
Ø Foodservice/restaurant experience is a benefit.
Ø Have demonstrated ability to follow through on direction.
Ø Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Ø Computer literacy skills sufficient to key orders (data entry), use email and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ø Must be detail oriented.
Ø Must follow Preferred Work Methods (PWMs) effectively and accurately.
Ø Identify department and customer needs and satisfy them effectively.
Ø Maintain and develop assigned customer base and notify Sales for Customer turnover.
Ø Cross-train and foster solid working relationships with other departments.
Ø Maintain open and effective communication with Sales and Purchasing to minimize number of deliveries and consistent quality issues.
Ø Monitor customer Gross Profit and credit levels of assigned customer base, work with Sales Reps, and report lost business and minimal ordering.
Ø Input orders into computer system and update Faxes and COG’s to meet customer needs.
Ø Adhere to operational procedures at FreshPoint Dallas (special orders and delivery cutoffs).
Ø Attend Sales, Customer Care, Credit and other meetings as scheduled.
Ø Work with Sales Team by going on Ride-with to meet and help set up new customers.
Ø Maintain Customer call lists, contact information and delivery windows for assigned accounts.
Ø Responsible for creating and maintaining necessary company and customer files.
Ø Responsible for managing daily out of stock report as it relates to customer needs and deliveries.
Ø View over-10 report for customer over-ordering.
Ø Support company sales and gross profit projections and goals as needed.
Ø Meet phone requirements and daily objectives.
Ø Suggestively sell promotional and in-house stocked items.
Ø M ust be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required.
Ø Good attendance and adherence to work schedule required
Ø Adherence to all good Manufacturing Practices, Company Policies and Safety procedures.
Physical Requirements :
This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive movements in wrists and arms on a frequent basis.
