With our growing business, we have business to business Inside Sales opportunities in several locations including our Guilderland, NY location.Inside Sales RepresentativeHas overall responsibility and accountability for driving profitable sales growth and exceptional customer service for the full line of Horizon's Products, Consulting Services and Solutions and the integration of those sales with the overall product sales effort. This position is a primary and critical customer and Horizon Account Manager sales partner and an integral part of Horizons overall sales and service team. Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for the implementation of inside/telephone sales and marketing efforts and sales and marketing plans for the full line of Horizon products, technical solutions and technical support services with the objective of increased sales, gross and net profit and exceptional customer service.Understand and analyze market and customer needs, identify customer solutions and priorities that maximize Horizons profit opportunity and sales growth within the customer base. Identify value added service opportunities and provide superior customer service. Direct customer relationships and sales via telephone and indirect via Account Managers and Technical Specialists personnel.Establish and maintain relationships, both in person and via telephone, with vendors. Negotiate Horizon pricing, special pricing and delivery; assist in the development of and participate in special vendor sales incentive programs to increase and develop Horizon product and services sales.Process product sales in Horizons business system including customer billing, packaging and delivery information.
These positions require knowledge of features, benefits and use/application of broad range of Horizon products and services is required. Technical knowledge of Horizon specific products and product applications; product design, installation and maintenance are preferred. Experience with the telephone sales and support of Horizon products and services or closely related products and services is preferred. Direct experience in sales and technical solution development and implementation with the Horizons lines of products preferred.Knowledge and/or experience in the direct telephone customer selling process and techniques is required. Ability to determine and negotiate product cost and customer pricing is required. Previous customer service and inside sales experience preferred; the ability to work in a fast paced customer support environment required. Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; strong attention to detail and analytical ability required. Associates Degree in technical field or equivalent experience required.Broad understanding of business processes, systems and structures preferred.
