We are seeking a Mid Enterprise Account Representative to join our growing team. In this role you will focus on increasing market share for Proofpoint products through outbound telephone prospecting to commercial accounts within assigned region. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering web based and onsite product demos. As a Mid Enterprise Account Representative you will be converting prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with System Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Partner with the channel to drive incremental revenue
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested
  • Prepare and execute a thorough business plan
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint's competitive positioning in the marketplace
  • Meet or exceed revenue quota

Requirements:
  • 4+ Years of net new sales experience in enterprise software sales-
  • Must demonstrate:
  • Sustained success/over-achievement in an enterprise sales role
  • Technical aptitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Positive attitude and presentation skills
  • Competitive nature
  • closing skills
  • Security or SaaS Experience a plus
  • Up to 20% Travel
