The Inside Sales Representative will quote, sell and service small group and group related products for a specific block of brokers in the Los Angeles Region. This position will back up other sales reps with limited sales questions and support; will also work with customer service support staff to resolve all issues related to commission, client service and carrier relations. The Inside Sales Representative will also schedule enrollments and client presentations and assist pending item department with setting up underwriting files and completing all pending item follow-up with brokers and their groups.
Must be self-motivated and goal oriented. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products, excellent communication skills and outstanding telephone manner. Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese highly preferred. Four year degree preferred or two years of insurance industry experience. Position will use computer and be on the phone 95% of the time. Normal sight, hearing and mobility required. Able to lift and carry 25-30 lbs.
