Inside Sales Specialist (Bilingual Spanish/English)

for our

Benton Harbor, Michigan

based manufacturing facility. We seek an

experienced proactive sales

specialist from a

business-to-business

environment (manufacturing preferred) for this role that reports to the Manager, Inside Sales & Customer Service.

About the Role:
The Inside Sales Specialist will work closely with OEMs, Distributors, and Catalog Customers by developing and implementing strategies and tactics that lead to increased sales growth of Gast and JUN-AIR products. He/she provides support to the internal operations team, sales force, customers, distributors and potential customers regarding sales and service issues. The Inside Sales Specialist coordinates sales leads, quote development, and pre-sales support. He/She assists the regional and key account sales force in day to day sales activities and maintains current product and territory information in our CRM. Following is a summary of key responsibilities:

Provide high level of customer service and serve as a liaison between operations and customer service. Ensure that issues or at-risk shipments are quickly recognized, resolved, and communicated to the customer and that the product group personnel (quality, engineering and manufacturing / logistics) are consistently informed. Personally resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service or escalate to management when appropriate. Coordinates implementation of special order handling procedures.

Develop and increase sales of our products through distribution, catalog customers, and OEMs. Serve as primary contact for assigned customers in the US and Latin America. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. Understand their specific needs and recommend how we get more of their business or partner better with them to successfully grow the business.

Look at ordering patterns and historical information and provide input to internal CSR team and Regional / Key Account Sales team that would allow them to make more proactive sales calls and drive growth of the business (expiring blankets, timing for contract re-ups, etc). Work with Key Account and Regional Sales teams to identify and progress opportunities in existing accounts.

Perform outbound cold calls to target lists, develop new prospects and expand contacts in existing accounts. Generate qualified leads and interest in Gast and JUN-AIR products. Qualification of inbound phone and web inquiries. Profile accounts and/or contracts based upon market analysis within a given segment, application, or region. Follow-up to qualify leads - determine budget, business need, and decision maker buy-in prior to passing the lead to our Key Account Sales team. Record accurate customer information in the CRM system

Acts as preliminary customer contact to do limited negotiation with involvement of product manager - IE Special Pricing Agreements.

Keep management informed of customer complaints by identifying actual problem, resolving the complaint and determining remedial action necessary to prevent reoccurrence. Advise management of quality problems in the field and provide feedback from customers.

Continually strive to improve sales and product skills to become a product knowledge expert on Gast and JUN-AIR products, services and their applications. Provide recommendations and participate in ongoing training as required to improve inside sales skills.

Complete monthly reporting to Business Leaders (Sales Pipeline, Monthly Forecast, Sales Activity Performance, High/Lows, Trend Tracker, etc.). Daily CRM reporting, maintenance of weekly flash/forecast reporting. Develop accurate forecasts based on customer input, field intelligence, market trends and competitive assessment. Additional reporting as requested by management team

Handles additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

About the Candidate

:

The ideal candidate will be someone with proven success in increasing B2B sales of additional products and services to existing client base. Must have a drive to succeed. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Business Development and Marketing teams to qualify leads. The candidate must maintain a high-level of energy and lead by example with a constant strive towards exceeding goals.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) required

. Able to read, write and comprehend technical manuals and training materials printed in English and Spanish.

Customer service mentality and experience

, preferably for a product manufacturer.

Extensive experience at an inside sales level with in a

business-to-business

environment.

Strong sales metric analysis skills

to diagnose sales performance.

Demonstrated

ability to operate computers and do data analysis

. Experience with

sales automation software and CRM

process.

Track record of sales success

(meeting and exceeding assigned quota).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

:

High School Diploma/GED with 5 to 7 years experience in the Sales, Customer Relations, Customer Service and/or Technical Support field

OR

Associates Degree with 3 to 5 Years experience in related field

OR

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related discipline with1 to 3 Years experience in related field
