Inside Sales Specialist

Job Purpose:
Inside Sales Specialists place outbound calls and are responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities. Inside Sales provide a critical role by supporting our sales team set-up and establish contacts.

Essential Job Duties:
1. Place outbound calls to market to build relationships with contacts and garnish leads
2. Follow up on Marketing-generated leads
3. Educate prospects on MedNet Solutions and MedNet Solutions
4. Maintain records of correspondence in sales force automation tool
5. Research companies on Internet, industry publications, and third party tools to identify new targets
6. Support Area Sales Directors to identify and mature opportunities within individual territories
7. Coordinate warm lead hand off from outside lead generation group to Area Sales Directors

Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the Life Sciences, Business or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Knowledge of computer usage in a web-based environment 0-3 years of previous technical telesales experience preferred. Exposure to formal sales methodologies preferred

Work Environment / Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
