Job Overview

The Inspection Technician is responsible for the inspection processes and conformance to the company quality system and established procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

General Duties:

Follow and enforce quality requirements in the Company in accordance with company needs, based on current regulations, customer requirements, relevant quality specifications, and management directives


Directly responsible to inspect, record, and maintain records for products

Calibrate test stations and equipment


Responsible for intra-company relationships and communication with other departments

Continually strive to conceive new ideas, products, and services for the company to achieve its primary goal of increasing product growth and profits

Responsible for taking safety seriously

Learn to operate new technologies and implement new procedures

Monitor delegated tasks

Make suggestions for updating policies and procedures

Ensure understanding of this job description and signs acknowledgement

Responsibilities and Authority The Inspection Technician receives authority from the Production Manager necessary to perform the above functions.

Legal and Prescribed Responsibilities

Work Environment

This position will be working primarily indoors in a smoke-free environment on the shop floor. The employee will encounter varying conditions and temperatures.

This position requires the employee to remain focused for hours at a time while performing monotonous work when inspecting articles under microscope.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but can be higher in various areas of the shop floor.

$12.00 p/hr
