The Inspector & Testor A will:
In addition, in this role you will:
Performs miscellaneous operations including dismantle, adjust, repair, reassemble, and connect as required on equipment such as AC and DC motors, generators, convertors, pumps, auto transformers, etc
Test, report and perform miscellaneous related duties as required
May direct others
Must comply with all GE EHS & Quality requirements
High School Diploma / GED
Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in motor repair or similar field
Ability and willingness to work overtime, various shifts, holidays and weekends as required
Ability and willingness to travel to different job sites (possible overnight) as required

Able to read and interpret winding connection drawings
Experience winding field coils
Good mechanical skills
Self-starter able to work with minimal direction
Willingly accepts job challenges
Have experience with Health & Safety programs
Two-year technical or Trade School degree
Accomplished skills in their trade with experience on motor equipment
