Primary Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison and follows up on sales calls. Responds to product questions.

Provides support in the overall sales process and responds to Business Development Representative and client needs. Also provides support to Client Service and Consultant Relations teams when needed.

Provides quarter end quantitative and qualitative analysis for the institutional focus products. Proactively keeps the team informed with product updates: peer analysis, literature, internal meeting notes, etc.

Maintains and expands prospect and contact databases and compiles statistical information.

Coordinates mailings and marketing initiatives in support of territory development including working with Business Development Representatives to develop targeted calling lists.

Works closely with Business Development Team to qualify RFPs.

Provides ad hoc and weekly sales reporting to Senior Management.

Assist Business Development Representatives in developing call reports and brief memos for prospect visits.

Conducts research on markets not listed on databases (corporate cash, hospitals, insurance, etc…)

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree. Working toward MBA and/or CFA preferred.

FINRA Series 7 and 63 license

3-5 years experience in the financial services industry

Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Ability to work independently and within established guidelines

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
