Major/Essential Duties of Job
The Instructional Design Specialist II will be responsible for designing and managing a training development process. The Instructional Design Specialist II will work with subject matter experts and technical writers to establish training needs, prepare learning objectives, and define and sequence course content for both classroom and online learning. He/she will utilize their knowledge of adult learning theories, multiple learning styles, and instructional design principles to maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of the training program. The Instructional Design Specialist II will also review and modify existing programs to meet changing needs and objectives.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Work Experience (Months/Years) and Skills Required
Three years' experience in training, face-to-face and online curriculum development and adult learning principles. Experience with online course development and online course development software.
