Summary: Reporting to the Director of Training and
Development, this position is responsible for the design
and delivery of leadership, interpersonal and technical
training programs.
Responsiblities:
Design and deliver training programs for
administrative, technical, sales marketing and other
employee groups
Determine most appropriate method of delivery
(stand-up, computer based, etc.) and training aids
for leadership, technical, and interpersonal
communication programs
Using necessary resources (internal and external)
establish and maintain a web-based delivery system
to provide cost effective and high quality training
to employees in distant locations
work policies, processes and procedures, creates
instruction and reference manuals, training
materials and other documentation; Monitor and
evaluate course content and delivery systems for
quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for
improvement as needed.
May support other leadership, sales and technical
training as needed. Other development duties as
assigned.
Job Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of training design and
curriculum development, principles of adult learning
Stand-up training delivery skills, stage presence
and group facilitation skills
Experience in designing electronic (e-learning)
training solutions
Excellent writing skills including proficiency with
Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Access and
Power Point)
Test Administration
Basic understanding and knowledge of work process
design
Ability to influence others
Excellent organization, work prioritization and
project management skills
Education and Experience:
BA/BS degree in Education, HR, Organizational
Development or Lean/Six Sigma preferred
3-5 years experience in training design and delivery
Previous experience in technical writing,
process/procedure documentation
