Position Summary: The ID will apply the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) model to the curriculum for both existing courseware products and for new requirements as they are identified to ensure the effective and efficient methods and media are utilized to enhance adult learning.
Position Description: Responsible for all phases of the ADDIE of instructional material for customer training courses that support company technical products. Must demonstrate and utilize effective needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skills. Must be able to independently develop entry and advanced level courses for both internal and external audiences. Able to utilize multimedia technology and authoring tools. Acts as liaison between research & development and instructional design in determining needs of the course and appropriate method of delivery.
Designs and develops instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements.
Conducts analysis of training requirements and media requirements.
Develops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materials.
Designs and develops computer-based training, web-based training, instructor-led training, electronic performance support systems and other technology-based learning solutions.
Works on complex instructional systems design projects.
May act as a technical task lead.
Participates in special projects as required.
Overseas travel is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design
Minimum of Two (2)-Five (5) years’ experience.
Proficiency with SCORM and Section 508 compliance.
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems/Learning Content Management Systems such as Moodle.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Must have a Valid U.S. Passport.
Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design
Familiarity with authoring tools such as Evolution is a plus.
Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Mature individual with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, highly refined planning skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently or as part of a dynamic team.
Superior time management and organizational skills.
