Consult with and advise key business stakeholders regarding learning needs and strategy
Work closely with clients to conceptualize, design, and write highly interactive learning solutions (e-learning, instructor-led training, blended solutions) that Client learning objectives and improve performance
Assess client needs to determine appropriate performance interventions
Author and create instructional strategies based on client need
Create training content using custom storyboard templates
Function as a staff resource and consultant for internal education
Assist with webinars for training when needed

Assess proposed Global Markets product line curriculum and provide recommendations for design and delivery
Perform an assessment of underwriting and claims courseware to determine instructional design recommendations

Ability to explain, discuss, and apply current instructional design theories, methodologies, strategies and best practices to various types of projects
Use multimedia and web-based applications to design training solutions
Develop design documents, storyboards, scripts, media lists, and assessment tools
Translate written content into visual descriptions (graphics, animations, interactive charts and graphs, video-based scenarios)
Preferred minimum of 10 years of Learning & Development experience in:
Financial Services Industry
Insurance Industry
Full knowledge of L&D principles and models such as ADDIE, ROI, Kirkpatrick, etc.
Working knowledge of Adobe Connect, Telecommunication Connect, webcams
Design for Lectora, Camtasia, and Articulate other technology-based authoring tools
Willingness to stay abreast of current research and trends in instructional design, technology, cognitive science, and related fields
B.A. in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Design, English, Journalism, Business Administration or related field
M.Ed. or M.S. in Instructional Design (preferred),
