Instructional Manager: Alternative Language Services, Level MSE4
THIS POSITION IS SHORT TERM
Location: Albuquerque Public Schools: LANGUAGE/CULTURAL EQUITY
Qualifications:
Requires a Master's Degree in Education or related field.
Valid NM Administrator's License.
Bilingual and/or TESOL endorsement.
Six (6) years of experience in providing or administering Alternative Language Services.
Expertise in all aspects related to the education of language minority students.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This position is responsible for management and supervision of Language Proficiency Testing.
EXPERIENCE: Preferences:
Effective communication skills both verbal and written; flexibility; organization; decision making and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of rules and regulations related to federal and state funding for Title III and bilingual education.
Knowledge of Language Proficiency Assessments.
School based administrative experience.
Classroom teaching experience in bilingual and/or English as a second language programs.

SALARY:
Starting annual salary between $55,292 and $63,586 depending on related, verifiable experience.
