Automotive Trades Department, Instructor

The School of Applied Technology at Alfred State College is looking to hire an Instructor to teach Automotive Trades. Responsibilities include instructing post-secondary students, student advising, recruiting, committee service, and maintaining industry relations. Applicants must be well versed in the theory, operation, diagnosis and repair of modern automotive engines, electrical, fuel, climate controls, and emission systems. An Associate’s Degree in the automotive field; a minimum of seven years of professional experience with a minimum of five years of approved trade experience in the automotive field; ASE certification and factory service training is desirable.
