Applicants are sought for a one-year instructor position in agribusiness finance and management for the academic year 2012-2013. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses such as agribusiness finance, personal finance, agribusiness management, coops, and entrepreneurship. Opportunities for research or outreach activities are available depending on the abilities and goals of the successful candidate. The position is available August 2012. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
A Masters degree in agribusiness, business, or economics is required, while a Ph.D. in one of those fields is preferred. Experience in teaching related courses at the undergraduate level is required, as are strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preference will be given to applicants with an excellent teaching record, those with demonstrated skills in finance or management, and those with an interest in conducting research and outreach activities.
