The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS) in the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a full-time Clinical Instructor in Small Animal Community Practice for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Washington State University. The position will begin as soon as an acceptable candidate has been identified and the candidate can relocate to Pullman. The position will share responsibility for directing the Community Practice service including; case management, supervision of staff, intern training, coordination of the clinical and teaching service with other sections of the hospital, and interactions with referring veterinarians. The instructor may have opportunities to participate in didactic teaching and scholarly activity. This is an annually renewable position. |
Position Details Continued:
The candidate must possess a DVM or equivalent degree, have experience in small animal general (or specialty) private, public or academic practice, and be proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry.
Minimum/Required Qualifications continued:
Preferred qualifications include experience in teaching and the ability to effectively communicate and work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies.
