Announcement for Position
Position: Applied Piano; full-time annually contracted position. Subject to funding availability.
Rank and Salary: Instructor; salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities: Teach applied piano and recruit students for an established, comprehensive undergraduate and graduate music program. Other duties, including accompanying and teaching piano skills courses, may be assigned based on the candidate’s qualifications and departmental need.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Music plus thirty hours of graduate study in the field is required. Must be an accomplished teacher and musician with demonstrable success teaching at the collegiate level. An engaging teaching manner and outstanding interpersonal skills for student recruitment are essential.
