Layout, install, calibrate and maintain a variety of electrical/electronics instrumentation equipment, such as motors, process instruments, lighting circuits, etc. Diagnose and remedy trouble quickly to avoid shutdowns on above equipment.
Install, configure, maintain, and calibrate specific field instruments such as analog pressure transmitters, radar level gauges and Micromotion mass flow meters/transmitters.Maintain and extend the plant Allen Bradley PLC, Moore single-loop controllers, and Wonderware HMI systems. Use RS Logics software; periodic electrical work required.Document the process control systems. Includes documenting logic, maintaining calibration records and maintenance histories on individual devices to reading and "red-lining" CAD drawings.Works closely with the Regional Process Control Specialist to create and maintain consistent programming standards and equipment commonality
Must possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Drivers License. Vocational/technical school diploma with ISA certification required within 5 years. Other post-secondary education is helpful. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as an instrumentation technician. 3+ years experience with planning and scheduling of maintenance work
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming and I/O equipment a plus.
Must have an Associate Degree or industrial experience in electrical/instrumentation.
