REMOTE ROLE - Candidate must be in the Houston, TX

In this role, the Equipment Installation Support Technician (EIST) will provide on-site implementation assistance to GE Account Managers during installation of equipment associated with patient monitoring devices in acute care hospital facilities. Specifically, the EIST will work in a team setting to install blood pressure cuff adaptors on all monitoring devices to ensure hospitals standardize to a common connection. This will mean visiting all areas of a hospital - from Emergency, to Surgical Services, to Critical Care. Working with the local field team, EIST will own certain work streams and complete projects independently; attention to detail is critical.

Key Requirements:
*Hard work ethic, attention to detail, customer focused, positive attitude.
*Must have an Associates degree/Bachelors degree or 4 years of military service - Preferred
*A minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
*Comfortable interacting with clinicians - techs, nurses and doctors
*Comfortable with basic power and hand tools
*Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites that will change each week (mileage reimbursed over 50 miles)
*Ability to travel, including overnights (per diem provided for overnights meals, hotels paid for by GE).
*Ability to work nights/early mornings as required.
*Ability to obtain proper vendor credentialing to include basic immunization shots eg flu, chicken pox, MMR, etc (immunizations to be reimbursed)
*Access to a computer to take ~5 hours of onboard training
*Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation.

*Located within 20 minutes of posted city
*Computer skills - specifically basic functionality of Excel
*Existing vendor credentials (eg RepTrax)
*Healthcare experience
*Demonstrate oral and written communication skills
*Access to a laptop computer

Tax ID- This will need to be provided by your company All of this will need to be documented in a letter from your company and available to the worker and the GEHC account manager when the time comes to complete the Reptrax process (Contractor's 1st Day). On their first day of work, the worker and the GEHC account manager will work together to get the 3 online courses completed.
