The Insurance Agent assesses clients’ needs and provides life and annuity products options to best serve long-term goals/

Primary Responsibilities
  • Uses referrals, professional associations, direct mailings, cold calls, special-interest groups and expanded networks to compile prospecting lists
  • Continue to provide services to clients by competing applications, obtaining underwriting approval and delivering policies
  • Plan for follow-up visits and reevaluation of client needs
  • Participate in professional organizations and local community events in order to broaden client base

  • Proven sales experience (at least 2+ years) with a minimum average production of $3,000/month over the last six months
  • Sales experience in the pre-retiree and retiree markets focusing primarily on Life, Annuities, DI LTC with some Health production
  • Ability to utilize current client base to expand and network with new potential prospects
  • In good standing with current carriers

  • Established presence and involvement in local community
  • Candidates should not have significant background issues such as bankruptcies, other financial deficiencies (including listing on Vector), criminal convictions, regulatory charges/complaints resulting in finding of fault
