Disney Studios has an exciting opportunity for an International Marketing Coordinator
Disney Music Group is seeking enthusiastic candidates for an International Marketing Coordinator position under the Walt Disney Records label umbrella. As Department Coordinator, this position will provide key support for two Marketing Managers in addition to performing extensive administrative duties for the department. Qualified candidates must have knowledge of the current global music landscape and be familiar with production of physical and digital commercial record releases. A strong background in marketing, communications, International Business and tech-savvy individuals are a huge plus. This is a great opportunity for self-starters interested in the new music business model as the industry continues to evolve and move towards digital product and online marketing initiatives.
•Aggregate and distribute internal documents including international production schedule, meeting agendas and presentation materials.
•Oversee servicing of all production parts for both audio and video releases to each manufacturing territory.
•Process invoices and purchase orders in SAP.
•Provide effective and detailed communication including solicitation of marketing, sales and promotional information between DMG Burbank and DMG International Team as well as external music licensees.
•Aggregate, track and analyze International sales data by territory for major product releases.
•Review and approve all export orders.
•Assist with weekly departmental tasks and scheduling of International bi-weekly conference calls.
•New product release scheduling and International product entry in proprietary internal database.
•Other miscellaneous duties and department projects as assigned.
3 years of related marketing, media, music industry and/or record label business experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals. International marketing experience preferred.
Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively with others.
Exceptional organizational, follow-thru and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously. .
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to be flexible with work schedule. Some overtime required.
Excellent computer proficiency – Mac & Windows: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Keynote.
Excellent and professional phone skills.
Demonstrates ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
SAP experience preferred.
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
